Meeting and brainstorming for drafting of Master Plan 2031 continued with a meeting that was organized today at UIT led by Chief Town Planner, N.K Khare. The meeting was called in to review various suggestions received in the past meetings and to include other feasible points for Master Plan 2031.

Along with the review, major heads of administration gave suggestions for better town planning in the presence of UIT officials and appointed consultant. The draft so prepared would be forwarded to State Capital for further approval.

According to Dr. R.P Sharma, Secretary, UIT, various suggestions from all the departments of Udaipur have been received. The town planning is being done with a perspective of year 2031 when estimated population by the time would be more than 10 Lakh.

Sharma further added that all the feasible suggestions will be given to the consultant, who will draft it accordingly. Thereafter, the draft will be screened by UIT and forwarded to Jaipur for approval.
