Vibhuti park at Fatehsagar lake will not pose a problem with the pedestals erected for the statue placements. This information was given by the experts of IIT, Roorkee.

The pedestals were being considered dangerous for the promenade for which Jodhpur High court had ordered experts Dr.Sudhir Kumar and Prof.R.Anaballagan to investigate on the matter. The investigators reported that the pedestals are not dangerous to the promenade in any way.

Seepage line is more than 16 metres below the road, as mentioned in the report. The Corporation Commissioner said that the report given by IIT Roorkee experts will be presented in the High court. A report from the Water resources is yet to arrive.

It may be noted that until the final reports arrive, further construction work has been put to a hault by the orders of High court. The report given by the Rourkee team says that the strength of the 9 metre wall downstream Fatehsagar lake needs to be strengthened before the placement of pedestals and statues. If this wall falls then it will prove to be dangerous for the pedestals.
