The state government bus depot at Udiapol will be soon aided with an alternate road, which will be constructed on back side of present Bus Stand. The project is initiated by Urban Improvement Trust, which would help reducing traffic congestion on main circle.

According Gehri Lal Sharma, Executive Engineer, UIT, “On back side of bus depot, a 60 feet wide road will be constructed, work for the same has been started already on site. The road will allow smooth flow of buses while going in and out of depot, apart from this will also reduce traffic congestion on main road caused due to transport buses.”

Gehri Lal further added that around 40 sq feet area of RSTC would be acquired within road,. A temporary space is also provided for parking use RSTC buses.

According to C.P Chaturvedi, Manager, RSTC, ” Road will be used by RSTC buses and would be equipped with 20 feet wide gate on both side of road, the project will provide 4 entrance gates to bus stand.”
