The second gate of Town Hall, Nagar Parishad which leads to Liberty Electronics Showroom has been closed today for an unknown period of time by the orders of Rajni Dangi, UMC Chairman.

When UT asked Dangi, she said, “The gates have been closed because two and four wheelers are taking it as a common pathway now which leads to Shakti Nagar, and this is creating a traffic situation on the pathway”.

“This is not a general pathway for public, but it’s for the employees of Nagar Parishad, and heavy amount of traffic on pathway may lead to some mishap.  So, the gate leading to another end has been closed for a while”, Dangi clarified.

The general public is yet getting used-to the decision of closing Shakti Nagar Road cut opposite to Lake City Honda and was taking alternate routes and so was using the Town Hall route to enter Shakti Nagar.
