Freeing the city roads from illegal encroachments, Udaipur Municipal Corporation’s anti encroachment team raided several areas today and took required actions.

The team first raided a shop at Delhi Gate and seized it. The shop was illegally constructed in a residential building and had no permission to do any commercial activity. The shop is owned by Kishanlal Jain who was doing edible oil business.

Encroachment on Fatehpura road at Sukhadia Circle was also removed. A wandering family who got settled on the footpath from last few months was evacuated.

NiteshBhatnagar, Revenue officer at UMC said, “Soon road widening work will start at Sukhadia circle.”
