District Collector Ashutosh A.T Pednekar ordered all petrol pumps to provide petrol to only those two wheeler riders who are wearing helmets.

District Logistics Officer Himmat Singh Bhati held a meeting with all petroleum company in charge and issued this order. According to the SP, these orders are old but the implementation will be carried on from tomorrow onward.

Also, if anyone is found without the helmet inside or around the Collectorate area will be fined. Today, few non-helmet wearers were warned but from 18th April onward, the orders will be strictly followed.

According to the issued order, petrol will be available only to those two-wheeler riders who are found wearing helmets.
