Airtel users from Udaipur have been facing major issues since today morning, ranging from calls getting disconnected to calls not getting through at all.
Airtel, being the first of the privately held incumbent telcos to roll out the VoLTE services has geared up to get through to 4G. With migration starting as early as the last quarter of 2017, Airtel is migrating its services today across Rajasthan.
THIS is the reason the Airtel network across Udaipur and for the matter across Rajasthan is down. Airtel offices in Udaipur confirmed the matter with UdaipurTimes, and have promised that the services should be back to normal and running before midnight today.
Users across Twitter and FB have been wondering on what the matter is, including the ex-CM Ashok Gehlot, who is in Udaipur today.
Tomorrow onwards Airtel users will be communicating on VoLTE 4G instead of the current 3G spectrum.
