2 dead in accident at Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway
Father-son duo die in a gruesome accident.
In a gruesome accident at Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway, 2 people lost their lives. A trolla overran a bike that was crossing the road at a bypass at main bus-stand in Parsad. The accident was so severe that the trolla dragged the bike for 200 metres. The father and son duo riding the bike died on the spot. The trolla was coming from Ahmedabad side.

Resident of Kanakpura, Ashok was on his way home after doing some shopping with his 6 year old son. While they were crossing the road on the bike, the trolla ran over them, dragged them to a distance and finally both the father and son died. The sight of the accident was hair-raising. People got agitated after witnessing the accident and the trolla driver escaped leaving the trolla on the spot.
SI of Parsad police station said that there were no traffic indicators on that road which is the main reason behind this accident. He added that if there is any negligence on part of the highway construction work, then necessary action will be taken against them.
