6 dead in road accident on Udaipur-Chittorgarh Highway

 

In a tragic road accident today morning, 6 women died while 8 other were seriously injured. The accident happened at Sanwaliyaji Chauraha on Udaipur-Chittorgarh highway at 5 am today morning.

As per the preliminary information available, the accident happened as a high speed Tempo Trax hit a static Trailer on the highway at Sanwaliyaji Chaurah. The impact was so severe that the entire Tempo Trax was torn apart. 5 women died on the spot while 1 succumbed to her injuries while being taken to the hospital.

The injured were taken to Sanwaliyaji Hospital in Chittorgarh. Status of 5 injured is said to be critical.

All the women belonged to Sagwara area of Dungarpur and belonged to Sompura tribe.
