Another student pillion rider killed in road accident
A 30-year-old student of B.Ed died while another student got injured in a tragic accident that took place at Rampura Road on 10th Jan.

Both students were going on motorcycle. At Rampura, while crossing the road, a speeding bus hit the motorcycle injuring both students Ritesh Meena and Pankaj.
Ritesh received serious injuries and died during treatment while Pankaj who was riding the motorcycle sustained minor injuries.
The accused bus driver was caught by Nai Police and booked for driving carelessly.
This is the second accident in a week where a student lost his life in road mishap. The similar incident took place at university road few days back, in which one student died on the spot.
In both cases, the deceased victims were pillion riders and none of the students who were riding the bike were wearing helmets.
Driving without safety equipment has been discussed and debated various times in past but seeing the growing fatal accidents; administration should take a strict step.
