Boy-Girl found dead in Resort; slit their wrist and neck, consumed poison
In an utter horrific and tragic incident that occurred last night of 11th Jan, bodies of a boy and girl were found from a room of a resort located at the outskirt of Udaipur.
In an utter horrific and tragic incident that occurred last night of 11th Jan, bodies of a boy and girl were found from a room of a resort located at the outskirt of Udaipur.
Observing the condition of bodies, police is considering it suicide. The deceased boy was 24-year-old and used to do property business while the girl was 19 year old and studying in 1st Year at Meera Girl’s College.
Both belong to Kankroli but the boy used to stay at Rajnagar and the girl was staying at Bhopalpura, Udaipur.
No specific reason of suicide is discovered yet but love affair is highly believed to be the cause.
According to resort administration, the couple checked-in at Saturday afternoon and ordered tea and two bottles of water. Till late evening when no one came out of the room, the staff got suspicious and knocked the door and also called on phone but nobody responded.
At 10:30 the resort staff contacted Sukher Police Station and informed about the situation. Following the information, CI Gajendra Singh Naruka arrived with the team and forced open the door of room.
Police discovered the bodies of the couple with cuts on hands and neck, bottles of pesticide and sleeping pills were also found from the room.
Seeing the condition of bodies, a police official stated that the couple took no chance to survive as both of them attempted several ways to end their life.
Senior police official Lakhman Singh (ADSP) also arrived to check the situation and directed to transfer the bodies to mortuary and the resort room was locked till further investigation.
The bodies were handed over to the relatives today after post mortem. Now police has started the investigation to know in what circumstances the couple committed suicide and since how long they knew each other.
