Police Constable Exam candidate Dies in a Road Accident

It was a day of sheer misfortune for the family of 19-yr-old Gaurav Khatik, resident of Semari who died in a freak road accident today near Daya Dam, while his elder brother Vishal is admitted in MB Hospital with multiple injuries.

It was a day of sheer misfortune for the family of 19-yr-old Gaurav Khatik, resident of Semari who died in a freak road accident today near Daya Dam, while his elder brother Vishal is admitted in MB Hospital with multiple injuries.

Both brothers were coming to Udaipur to appear in the entrance exam for the post of Police Constable when their motorcycle hit head-on with another motorcycle coming from Udaipur.

Hearing the news, Gaurav’s mother fell unconscious in the hospital and is undergoing treatment.

According to sources, both Vishal and Gaurav left home today morning for Udaipur to appear in the district level Police Constable entrance exams.  Vishal’s exam centre was at Sector 6 and Gaurav’s centre was at Sector 4.

While near Daya Dam, their motorcycle crashed head-on with another motorcycle being rode by a person identified as Devi Lal.

The crash was so intense that Gaurav died on the spot while Vishal and Devilal received grave injuries. All victims were rushed to MB Hospital.

Gaurav was studying at Semari senior secondary school and his elder brother Vishal is a 3rd year student.  After hearing the news, many of the victim’s relatives and friends rushed to the hospital and gathered outside the emergency ward.  Shocked by the death of her son, Gaurav’s mother fell unconscious outside the hospital; she is being attended to by medical staff.
