These are the 12 IDs you can use to Vote if you have Forgotten or Lost your Voter ID Card
Directives issued by the Election Commission of India

As the Assembly Elections across the 5 States of India draw closer, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued directives to ensure maximum voter turnout. After announcing the extension of Home Voting, the ECI has announced that the following Identity Verification Documents issued by the Govt of India can be used to cast votes if the voter has forgotten or lost her/his Voter ID Card.
The documents that can be used for ID verification are:
- Aadhar Card
- MGNREGA Job Card
- Bank or Post Office Passbook (Carrying Photo)
- Health Insurance Smart Card issued by Union Labour Ministry
- Driving License
- PAN Card
- Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR
- Indian Passport
- Pension Document (Carrying Photo)
- Photo ID Card Issued to Employees of Central, State Govt and Public Undertakings
- Photo ID Card Issued to MLAs, MPs and members of the Legislative Council
- Unique Disability (Photo) ID Card Issued by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment
The registered Voter holding any of the above ID Cards can cast her/his vote.
