30,000 residents of Udaipur walled city to get Health Card | 3 Health ATMs

A new health project will soon be initiated for the residents of the 18 wards falling under the walled city as part of the Smart City campaign. As part of this 30000 health cards will be made and 3 health ATM will be installed.

 

A new health project will soon be initiated for the residents of the 18 wards falling under the walled city as part of the Smart City campaign. As part of this 30000 health cards will be made and 3 health ATM will be installed.

Health cards will carry the entire health details of the card holder. Card will have details about the card holder’s blood pressure, sugar level, and other details related to his/her health. Card holders will also be able to get medicines from health ATMs. To help people understand the functioning of ATM, a counsellor will also be appointed. Besides this, project also has provision of installation of Automatic lab, mobile ambulance and upgrading PHC in Dhanmandi, Jagdish Chowk and Chandpole. Towards all this, a proposal of Rs 3 Cr has been given by heath department to Smart City Ltd.

A 4 phase process will be followed for the health card process. In the first phase, survey will be carried out in the walled city area. Post that health checkup will be carried out. Pilot will first be carried out in 3 wards and then health cards will be created for all wards.

For emergency services in narrow lanes, e-rickshaws will be started as mobile ambulances.

Siddharth Sihag said that after the massive ABD tender, priority will be given to this initiative.
