Divisional Commissioner Rajendra Bhatt has issued orders suspending Internet Services (except for Lease Lines) in Udaipur District on 26 September. The services will remain suspended from 6am till 6pm.

The order have been issued on the request of the District Collector Chetan Deora in order to maintain law and order during the REET Examinations being conducted in the district along with the rest of the state. The internet services will be suspended across the district with the exception of Kotda and Lasadiya.

This order comes after the state governments instructions. Despite a relatively silent disagreement over the suspension citing instructions of the Rajasthan High Court (Jodhpur Bench) in 2018 disallowing such suspension of services, this order to suspend the internet services during the conducting of the examinations has been sustained.
