Rajasthan: Door-to-Door Voter Forms from Nov 4

Rajasthan begins door-to-door voter form distribution under Special Intensive Revision. BLOs to visit homes thrice; Aadhaar valid only as identity proof

Udaipur, Nov 3, 2025 - From tomorrow, November 4, house-to-house enumeration will be carried out by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) across Rajasthan. Voter forms will be distributed door-to-door as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists. BLOs will visit every household three times within a month to ensure every eligible voter receives and submits the application form. BLOs will visit each household to verify existing entries and identify new eligible voters.

This exercise will lead to the release of the draft voter list. After that, voters enrolled after 2002 may be required to provide proof of identity and citizenship. Aadhaar will be accepted only as identity proof, not for citizenship verification.

The Udaipur District Collector is personally monitoring the progress of the form-distribution work.

Rajasthan Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan clarified that the SIR exercise is not being conducted in Anta Assembly constituency, but will take place in all other 199 constituencies.

Applicants do not need to submit documents while submitting the form. Only those whose names do not appear in any voter list since 2002 will receive notices later to provide documents.

If a family is not found at home during BLO visits, a notice will be pasted on the house and forms will be deposited inside for the family to fill later. Locked or close houses will be visited up to three times.
