Ten Residential Plots Generate Rs. 2.4 crore Income in UIT Auction
In a two-day auction organised by Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) Udaipur, on the first day revenue of more than Rs. 2 crore was recorded by sale of 10 residential plots of Chitrakut Nagar and Sector 9, while auction of commercial slots will be continued on Friday.

In the auction today, 5 residential plots each at Hiran Magri Sector-9 and Chitrakut Nagar Block ‘A’ was carried out. Minimum bid amount for these vacant lands of the size 980 sq. ft. at Sector-9 and 1936.8 sq. ft. of Chitrakut Nagar were kept at Rs. 1400 per sq. ft. The total income of Rs. 2.43 crore is expected from the bidding process.
According to B. P. Sharma, AO (Accounting Officer), UIT plot number 513 of Sector-9 was hammered with the highest bid amount of Rs.1879 per sq. ft, while plot number 502 of Chitrakut Nagar was auctioned at the least price of Rs. 1566 per sq. ft.
Sharma added that the auction of commercial slots will be carried out tomorrow on 22nd Feb. Three commercial plots in each of the Sub City Centre Block ‘B’ and Transport Nagar Goverdhan Villas Block ‘A’ will be on bid, with a minimum bid of Rs.3000 and Rs.2000 per sq. ft. respectively.
