The services domain under UdaipurCare includes Medical Services, Hospital Services, Food services, repair and maintenance services, laundry services, gardening services, hotels and resorts services, hair and saloon services, shoe repair and washing and vehicle services and maintenance

 

UdaipurCare.com, a 24-hour web service dedicated towards assisting senior citizens, was launched at an event organized by Rotary at Lok Kala Mandal on Sunday, 1st April.

The service, launched under the auspices of the district administration, with the assistance of Rotary and members of Udaipur corporate community, is aimed at providing a one stop service to the elderly, who are living alone or who need assistance at odd hours.  The services domain under UdaipurCare includes Medical Services, Hospital Services, Food services, repair and maintenance services, laundry services, gardening services, hotels and resorts services, hair and saloon services, shoe repair and washing and vehicle services and maintenance.

This project has been adopted by Rotary Club Mewar and the core of this service, the website www.udaipurcare.com, has been developed by PHPPoets owned by Ankit Sisodia and the call center will be managed by Fusion Business Solutions Pvt Ltd. a young enterprise from Udaipur.  President of Rotary Club Mewar, Sandeep Singhatwadia took the initiative and presented a cheque of Rs. 1,25,000 to District Collector Rohit Gupta as a token of assistance towards the service.  It was interesting to note that 1,200 people have already registered even before the official launch of the service.

Corporate partners to the UdaipurCare project include Sayuss Medicare Pvt Ltd., Maitrimanthan, JK Fortis Hospital, Arth Diagnostics, Vinayak Dental Clinic, GBH Memorial Cancer Hospital, Green Ventures, Medhola, Hiran X-Ray Clinic, Book-a-Surprise, The Gentlewash Laundry, Prabhat Hair Saloon, Marvel Water Park, Helthline Fitness Studio, Gupta Dento Neuro Spine Centre, HeartToHeart Services.  The list is expected to get longer as more services are added.

Rohit Gupta, in his address to the audience, congratulated the members of Rotary for the immensely quick turnaround time in implementing the project, the seeds of which were sown less than 2 months ago, when such a service was thought out in a meeting held to understand the requirements towards smart city projects.

The Commissioner and CEO of Udaipur Smart City Project, Siddharth Sihag was appreciative of the initiative, vision and the fast implementation of the project by those working towards it.  He also expressed his thanks to the corporate who have participated in this project and agreed to provide services at lower than market costs as a their contribution towards this social activity.

Other eminent members present during the launch were Hansraj Chowdhary, Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, UIT Chairman Ravindra Srimali, SP Rajendra Prasad Goyal, Additional SP Sudhir Joshi, Rotary District 3052 DG Ramesh Chowdhary, UCCI President Paras Singhvi, among others.

This event was made even more inclusive and interesting as it was held under the umbrella of “Mahamurkh Haasya Kavi Sammelan”, the audience coming in throngs to listen to Padma Shree Surendra Sharma, Anamika Amber, Munna Battery, Rao Ajaatshatru, Deepak Parikh and Suman.

Surendra Sharma took a dig at the UP elections, saying मैं चुनाव नहीं लड़ता क्यूं कि जब देश की जनता को प्यार से जीता जा सकता है तो लडक़र जीतनें की क्या जरूरत है.. He also took a dig at religious heads by asking…राम तो सबरी के झूठे बैर खा सकते है लेकिन सबरी राम के मन्दिर में क्यूं नहीं जा सकती.. The audience appreciated this comment in the form of thunderous applause.

Poetess Dr. Anamika Amber was also chirpy in her rendition of her poems, once of them being शाम भी खास है,वक्त भी खास है,मुझको एहसास है,तुझको एहसास है,इससे ज्यादा हमें और क्या चाहिये मैं तेरे पास हूं तू मेरे पास है…… , जहाँ पर सच दया सम्मान और ईमान रहता है वहीँ जाकर वह अल्लाह है और भगवन रहता है….

Earlier on during the session, Munna Battery had the audience in splits with this one liners, especially talking about demonetisation, regular digs from Indian politicians on Pakistan and राम की धरा पर हर ओर केसरिया ही छाया है…, 

Bhilwara’s Deepak Parikh also took home applause from the audience since he communicated in local rajasthani dialect, which was audience appreciated.  His line अपने भविष्य के अक्षर अपने हाथों काले मत करों बच्चों को संस्कार दो, कम उम्र में मोबाईल का इस्तेमाल मत करों …was also appreciated by the audience.

Udaipur’s Ajaatshatru, who anchored the Kavi Sammelan, put in his contribution in the form of फेसबुक जैसा फेस तुम्हारा , गूगल जैसी चाल.

Services on UdaipurCare.com are available 24 hours, with the site being active from 8am till 8pm and then the calls being transferred to the Control Center.  Senior citizens above 65 years of age, can call on  0294-2490491, 2490492 or email on helpline@udaipurcare.com for any enquiry related to the services.
