Bhutan Royals to spend Honeymoon in Udaipur

Bhutan’s newlywed King and Queen might spend their honeymoon in City of Lakes, Udaipur. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and his bride Queen Jetsun Pema will head to Rajasthan and will visit Udaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur in the last week of October.

If the latest news report published in TOI is believed, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and his bride Queen Jetsun Pema will head to Rajasthan and will visit Udaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur in the last week of October.

However, the schedule and plans are kept highly undisclosed by both Indian and Bhutanese authorities, but as per the newspaper claims, the royal couple is expected to arrive Rajasthan on Oct 25 and will stay till Nov 1.

It is also believed that Wangchuk’s trip to Rajasthan last year had enthralled him so much that he wanted to share his experience with his bride. According to the sources, a special train is arranged for the Royal Couple’s honeymoon trip.

The Royal wedding of 31-year-old king Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk with Jetsun Pema was held on Oct 13 at the Punakha Dzong in Bhutan. Their first public appearance was witnessed by 30,000 Bhutanese at Changlimithang stadium on Oct 15.
