NWR GM Inspects Development Work at Udaipur Railway Station
Railways officers guest house Uday Kiran at Sukhadia Circle also inaugurated
Udaipur, November 28, 2024 - The General Manager (GM) of North Western Railway, Amitabh yesterday visited Udaipur railway station (under Ajmer division) to inspect the redevelopment work going on there.
Accompanying him were Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Alok Agarwal, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) Ved Prakash, Chief Operating Manager of North Western Railway Madan Ram Devda, Chief Financial Advisor Geetika Pandey, Chief Safety Commissioner Jyoti Satija, Chief Medical Director P.C. Meena, Chief Engineer Ankur Jain, Deputy Chief Engineer (Construction) Mayank Gupta, Regional Officer Mahendra Depal and other officials.
According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager BCS Chaudhary, DRM Agarwal gave a presentation on various activities related to Udaipur railway station to GM Amitabh in the VIP lounge at the station. The Chief Engineer/Construction provided details on the ongoing station redevelopment work and future plans. The GM directed the officers to expedite the work. Afterwards, the GM inspected the railway station and gave necessary directions.
The same day, the railway officers guest house in the city, Uday Kiran at Sukhadia Circle was also inaugurated.
The GM also carried out a window trailing inspection between Udaipur and Ajmer, during which a thorough inspection of stations like Rana Pratap Nagar, Mavli, Kapasan and Bhilwara was carried out. He also inspected ongoing development work, including that under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
