Corona - A Slap on "I"
Where are we now? What did we earn?
All along when we have been fighting with the world for MY POSSESION, for MY PRIDE, for MINE, for I AM THE MOST IMPORTANT, for I DOMINATE, for I AM MORE IMPORTANT, for I RULE, for all the “MOREs”, all the RICHES - all now converges into one bed, a ventilator and struggle for “just one more breath.”
How much meaning does our 4 floor building hold, when our child’s lungs are fighting for filtering the air one more time?
Is our pride of “I DID MORE THAN MY PARENTS” doing well, when we can’t have our last chance of blessing them with last prayers and they are being cremated at a place we don’t even know? A place, that we will never be able to reach?
How does it feel with all the money in our bank, all the power in our hand but the lungs?
DID WE WIN?
STOP YOUR MOVEMENT AND THINK.
You are returning home from your work place; if you find your parents BREATHING PROPERLY, YOU ARE RICH. If you find your child playing and BREATHING PROPERLY - YOU ARE RICH.
CORONA IS A SLAP WE ALL NEEDED TO REALIZE THE ESSENCE OF LIFE. THE ESSENCE OF “US” THAT WE OTHERWISE LOST DUE TO “I”.
