Udaipur, February 25, 2025 - Senior Superintendent Akshay Bhanudas Gadekar of Indian Post Office at Udaipur has informed that through the Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra (DNK) postal service, goods can be exported worldwide. To facilitate this service, special counters have been set up for bookings at the Head Post Office Udaipur, Chetak Circle, and Head Post Office Kankroli, along with Shastri Circle Sub-Post Office, Udaipur.

Businesses, especially small and medium-sized businesses, can use DNK, also known as the Postal Export Centre, to send good internationally.

Gadekar said that the Postal Export Centre facility provides complete support to exporters and international logistics aggregators. It not only protects exporters from Customs-related issues and other problems when sending goods abroad but also saves both time and money. Plus exporters will have better control over export transactions and payments and receive support and guidance. The service also offers the convenience of electronic Customs clearance.

The Process

Exporters must have a valid Import-Export Code (IEC) to send goods through the Postal Export Centre and registration on the India Post website is required. After registration, you need to attach the GST number and a photocopy of your Aadhaar card to the product. For the service, fill out and submit the Postal Bill of Export (PBE) form, as per the Customs Department’s notifications. Bank account details must be correct to ensure timely IGST refunds.
