In effort to increase investment and employment opportunities in Rajasthan, the Rising Rajasthan Investors Summit is being organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The state-level summit will be held in Jaipur from December 9 to 11, 2024, while district-level summits are already taking place across the state. 

Udaipur, a key focus area, is seeing great interest from investors, thanks to the efforts of its District Collector, Arvind Poswal. Investors have proposed putting in over Rs 15,000 crore in Udaipur’s economy. 

Investors are particularly interested in mining and tourism in Udaipur. There are also proposals for developing hotels, resorts, and industrial units, showing Udaipur’s increasing appeal to both local and foreign investors.

Upcoming District Summit

A district-level event for Udaipur will take place on October 22, 2024 at Hotel Radisson Blu, where agreements (MoUs) will be signed for these investments. The government will support these investors by offering benefits and assistance.

Entrepreneurs interested in investing in Udaipur can submit their proposals via email to the District Industries and Commerce Center, Udaipur at DICUdaipur@rajasthan.gov.in, or they can submit proposals in person at the office. Employment Impact 

This summit is expected to bring hundreds of new businesses to Udaipur, speeding up economic growth and creating thousands of new jobs for the local population. The summit will help develop Udaipur’s economy through large investments, particularly in tourism and mining, which will create many jobs.
