[Pictures] Grand procession taken out celebrating Milad un Nabi

Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was celebrated with great fervor today in Udaipur. Muslim community today took out a grand procession to mark the auspicious occasion.

The procession had groups coming from various parts of the city. The procession, in all its grandeur started from Anjuman Chowk and concluded at Imrat Rasool Baba’s Dargah situated at Brahmpol.

The procession started from Anjuman Chowk at 1:30pm and after passing through Sindhi Bazaar, Bada Bazar, Ghantaghar, Moti Chohatta, Hathipole, Silatwadi, Jatwadi, Nai Pulia, Ambavgarh, Charak Hostel and Mallatai finally culminated at Imrat Rasool Baba’s Dargah situated at Brahmpol.

Proper security arrangements were made throughout the procession area and the police constables ensured that the procession passed off peacefully with no untoward incident. Proper traffic diversions were also made during the procession.
