Bhilwara - The incident in Bhilwara unfolded over a dispute regarding cricket being played in a playground on Sunday, which escalated into a clash between two groups.

The conflict began at the play ground of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital on Sunday where Muslim boys and members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) got into an argument. The dispute reportedly started when a cricket ball from the Muslim boys went into the tent of the RSS members who that were allegedly organizing a camp there.

When the boys attempted to retrieve the ball, the argument intensified and led to physical violence, with the boys allegedly thrashing the RSS members involved.

The incident drew in more members of RSS and various other religious groups as the information of the incident spread on a social media. This gathering then proceeded to the local police station to protest and demand the arrest of the accused involved in the altercation.

Police officials including Additional SP Vimal Singh, Deputy SP Ashok Joshi, and officers from multiple police stations arrived at the scene. They deployed additional forces to manage the situation and initiated an investigation into the matter.

MLA Ashok Kothari also visited the police station to assess the situation and possibly intervene in the resolution process.

As of now, six people were arrested and six minors were detained by the police in connection with the incident. Police continue their investigation to gather more details and possibly apprehend other individuals involved.

Representatives from Hindu associations staged a protest outside the police station, but the authorities have assured that the situation is under control with adequate police presence.

Additional SP Bhilwara Vimal Singh said that the conflict originated from a minor dispute but quickly becomes a major incident, prompting a robust police response and political attention. The authorities are actively working to maintain peace and ensure justice through their ongoing investigation. Sitution is under control and those arrested are under police interrogation, more arrest can be made in connection with the incident.
