Illicit liquor confiscated-1 arrested

A man has been arrested for transporting illegal liquor to Gujarat. Sukher police found 17 cartons of liquor in a pickup van that was carrying household items.
A van under the banner of ‘packers and movers’ was stopped by Sukher police near Amberi Bridge. The van had a lot of parcels containing household items. When police checked through the parcels, they found one huge parcel containing 17 cartons of liquor.
Police arrested the van driver, Vikas. Vikas revealed that he was taking the parcel from Gurgaon to Patan in Gujarat.
A smuggling racket behind the incident is being suspected. The driver is being interrogated for more details.
