The police on Wednesday arrested a man for allegedly helping the killers of the Bajrangdal leader Rajendra Parmar Aka Raju Teli in escaping after they gun down him on Monday evening outside his shop. The arrested man identified as Prahlad was caught by police in wee hours from Bhinder, area of Udaipur.

SP Udaipur Vikas Sharma said that the man in his interrogation accepted providing shelter to the duo of accused after the crime, dropping them near Chittorgarh in his car and leaving the car on the side afterwards.

He told police that one of the two accused is Pritam Singh. As per information Prabalad is also having a criminal background, he was in jail in relation to a case of NDPS ACT and was recently released on bail.

The sources suggests that the matter is somewhere related to the Udaipur Jail, police has allegedly conducted a search operation in jail and seized more than half a dozen of mobile phones. Notably two of the rivals of the slain leader Raju Parmar. Dilip Nath and Imran Kunjada are also inside jail these days.

Parmar was shot dead in a shootout on Monday evening when he was standing outside his shop Pick & Eat, two unidentified assailants opened 3 fires at him in which one bullet hit his head and he fell down on the floor. He was later rushed to nearby private hospital with injuries but later referred to MB Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

One Pritam Singh Aka Bunty is history sheeter of Goverdhan Vilas police station of the city took the responsibility of Parmar's murder later that night on his Facebook account, but as soon as the his post went viral on social media he deleted it. The kins of deceased Bajrangdal leader staged a protest next morning outside the mortuary for the arrest of the accused and also refused to the dead body.

The protestors also demanded government job and remuneration for the family member of the deceased. The postmortem of the dead body was later conducted was handed over to the relatives after the officials assured them for forwarding their demands further and will get them fulfilled as soon as possible.

Pritam Singh who name is being linked with Parmar's murder is a history sheeter, and is having more than 20 cases registered on his name. While the deceased deals in the real estate business and was having more than a dozen of cases registered against him.
