Thieves ‘pick pocket’ Man Sleeping with Jewelries and Cash

Reaching out to daring extremes, thieves stole cash and ornaments from the pocket of a man sleeping inside his house.

The victim, Hari Singh Chhajed, resident of Tilak Nagar, Sector 3 Hiran Magri lodged a police complaint today morning stating that 10 tola of gold ornaments and Rs. 9000 cash were stolen from his pocket last night, while he was sleeping.

According to Chhajed, his family is in Vallabh Nagar to attend a marriage function and he too arrived last night and slept without changing his clothes. Chhajed kept all cash and ornaments in his pocket.

At around 3:30am Hari Singh woke up due to certain disturbing noises.  He noticed a few people inside his house running out with ornaments and cash.  A gold chain, which Chhajed was wearing was left untouched.

Hiran Magri Police is skeptical about the whole episode and said that it needs further investigation.
