In the CUET-UG 2024 exam, 22,920 candidates scored perfect marks across 45 subjects. The results were announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, July 29, 2024.

This year, students were awarded a perfect score of 200, a change from the percentile scores used in 2022 and 2023. In those years, the exams were conducted in multiple sessions, requiring normalization methods.

Among the subjects, Business Studies had the highest number of perfect scores with 8,024 students achieving 200 marks. Political Science followed with 5,141 top scorers, and History had 2,520. Sanskrit and Punjabi also saw impressive results with over 50 students each achieving full marks.

In the language papers, 1,904 out of 33 offered languages had perfect scores. For English, 1,683 out of 8.2 lakh candidates scored 200 marks.

A retest for over 1,000 candidates with verified grievances was held on July 19, 2024. The announcement of the CUET-UG results comes amidst ongoing controversies over irregularities in other competitive exams, such as NEET-UG and UGC-NET.
