419 Seats Still Vacant at MLSU’s Arts College
Counseling process at MLSU’s Arts College concludes...
The three-day counseling process at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (Arts College) of Mohanlal Sukhadia University concluded on Wednesday, July 7,2024. Out of 2351 students who had applied for admission, only 946 attended the counseling. This resulted in 419 vacant seats out of the total 1365 available.
Dean Dr. Hemant Dwivedi reported that, after the counseling, 644 students were admitted to regular seats and 302 to self-financed seats. Specifically, 21 seats in the regular category and 398 seats in the self-financed category remain unfilled. The university will issue a new advertisement soon to fill these vacancies.
On Wednesday, students ranked from 1301 to 2351 were called for admission. Among them, 321 students attended, with 108 admitted to regular seats and 213 to self-financed seats.
There was a notable crowd of students outside the college during the counseling process. Student leaders were actively engaging with new students to encourage their admission.
