Board Examination Question Papers to be kept safe in Police stations

With the examinations for Board of Secondary Education commencing on the 2nd of March, the safety of question papers is a major concern. It has been decided to keep the question papers in Police stations in safe custody.

12th Board exams are starting on 2nd March whereas 10th Board exams will start on the 9th of March. 8th standard exams will also start on 9th March though question papers haven’t yet come.

For 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th standards, the count of students is going to be approximately 1lakh 53 thousand. The Board of Secondary has made 223 examination centres for 8th  standard and almost 183 centres for 10th and 12th standard.

Additional district Education Officer said that police stations have been finalised for the security of question papers of 183 centres and 7 flying squads have also been appointed.
