November 21, 2024 - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date sheets for Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams. The timetable was released on November 20, 2025, on CBSE's official website, cbse.gov.in.

Exam Schedule

The Class 10 exams will begin on February 15, 2025, with the English paper. Class 12 exams will also start on the same day, with the entrepreneurship paper scheduled first.

Number of Students Appearing

This year, approximately 44 lakh students are expected to appear for the CBSE Board exams across the country.

Subject Combination Planning

CBSE has ensured that no two exams for a student clash by avoiding more than 40,000 subject combinations. The board has also considered the dates of entrance exams to complete the board exams beforehand.

CCTV Policy for Fair Exams

To ensure fair and smooth exams, CBSE has asked educational institutions to install high-resolution CCTV cameras. These cameras will monitor students and exam materials closely during the exams.
