The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the registration process for Class 9th and Class 11th students appearing for the 2025 board exams from today, September 18, 2024. Schools affiliated with CBSE can register their students on the official website, cbse.gov.in. The last date to submit the registration form without a late fee is October 16, 2024.

As per the CBSE's guidelines, only those students whose details are submitted by their schools will be allowed to appear in the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for the 2025-26 session. Schools must register themselves on the portal before submitting student information.

CBSE has instructed schools to ensure that the students are from affiliated institutions and are regularly attending classes. Schools are also responsible for verifying that students are not registered with any other education board.

The board has directed schools to carefully fill in student details such as the candidate's name, parents' names, subjects, and other required information. Additionally, CBSE has clarified that while collecting information about the financial status of parents for scholarships, schools should not request ITR or other income proof.
