CBSE 2024 Exams: Board opens portal for special needs students facilities

Great news for students with special needs. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched an online portal for children with special needs (CWSN) to access essential facilities during the 2024 board exams. To facilitate this process, all CBSE-affiliated schools have been directed to enter details of CWSN students who will be taking the board exams in 2024.
Schools are required to utilize the 'Pariksha Sangam' portal hosted by CBSE at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in. This platform serves as the central hub for updating and managing information related to CWSN students appearing in the board exams. The application window, which commenced on January 19, will continue to accept document uploads and details submission until January 24, 2024.
CBSE has instructed all affiliated schools to promptly fill in the details of CWSN students who will be taking the board exams in 2024. This includes providing accurate information and updating the status of these students on the 'Pariksha Sangam' portal. Schools must use their login credentials (ID and password) to access the system. Once logged in, they will see a list of CWSN students enrolled in their schools, along with the specific facilities allowed for each category of students based on their disability.
If students wish to use the facilities provided for CWSN students, schools need to choose the relevant option. The details will then be included in the CBSE admit cards for 2024. The board will also guide exam center superintendents to make the required arrangements for CWSN students.
By following these instructions, CBSE aims to ensure that students with special needs have a seamless experience during the upcoming board exams, promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities for all. Schools play a crucial role in this process by actively participating in the data entry and status update procedures on the designated portal.
