The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the commencement of the online submission process for the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2024 Supplementary Examinations. The submission window opens on May 31, 2024. Students can register for supplymentary exam till June 15,2024. This process is applicable for:

1. Compartment (1st Chance). 
2. Improvement of Performance (Passed after subject replacement in 2024 Main Examinations).
3. Improvement of Performance in up to 02 subjects in Class X and 01 subject in Class XII.
4. Compartment (3rd Chance)- Private candidates only.

Key Points

Nomenclature Change: Compartment exams are now termed as Supplementary exams as per NEP-2020.

Eligibility: Only students listed through the online LOC submission will be allowed to appear.

Submission Portal: Schools must submit LOC via the PARIKSHA SANGAM link on the CBSE website [cbse.gov.in](https://cbse.gov.in) using their Affiliation Number and existing password.

No Extensions: The CBSE will not entertain any requests for deadline extensions or late submissions.

School's Responsibility

• Contact and inform students in the Compartment category.
• Notify students eligible for Improvement of Performance.
• Schools must submit the List of Candidates (LOC) for all students in the Compartment category, even if they can't contact them. Missing this will prevent the student from taking the Supplementary exams.
• Schools must submit the LOC within the given time frame. No extensions will be granted.

Exam Schedule

• Class 10th supplymentary exam will be held on July 15,2024 (Monday).
• Class 12th suppymentary exam will be held on July 15,2024 (Monday). 

Eligibility of Class 12th Students

1. Regular students who appeared in Board examination 2024 through school affiliated with Board are eligible to apply for only 1 subject in which they got compartment. 
2. Regular students who appeared in Board examination 2024 through school affiliated with Board in 6 subjects and got compartment in 2 subjects are eligible to apply only in 1 subject among those.
3. Regular students who appeared in 6 subjects in Board examination 2024 and got failed in 1 subject can apply for Improvement of Performance category. 
4. Regular students who passed in all subjects can apply for 1 subject under Improvement of Performance category only in the subjects whose examination will be conducted. 

Eligibility of Class 10th Students 

1. Regular students who appeared in Board examination 2024 through schools affiliated by Board and got Compartment can apply for 1 or 2 subjects.
2. Regular students who appeared in Board examination 2024 through schools affiliated by Board with 6/7 subjects and declared PASS due to replacement of subjects can appear in that subject under the Improvement of Performance category. 
3. Regular students who appeared in Board examination 2024 and PASS in all subjects can apply for 2 subjects under the Improvement of Performance category only in subjects whose examination will be conducted. 

Registration Fee Structure for Class 10th and 12th Compartment Exam

Fee Payment on Time (Last Registration Date 15 June, 2024)

• Schools in India: Rs 300/- per subject.
• Schools Outside India: Rs 2000/- per subject.
• Schools in Nepal: Rs 1000/- per subject. 

Late Fee Payment (Late Registration on 16 or 17 June,2024)

• For all schools: Rs 2000/- extra fine in addition with the fee prescribed.
