Induction and Orientation session commences at Faculty of Management Studies, MLSU, Udaipur
The new 2023-24 batch of MBA (all streams) and BBA ED took part in a eight-day induction programme that commenced on Monday, 24 July.
The Student Induction Programme is a mandatory exercise by the University Grants Commission to let the students acclimatise themselves with the academic environment. The freshers were exposed to the facilities available in the University.
The inaugural ceremony event began with a formal welcome of the fresh batch and the special guests by the Director of FMS, Prof. Meera Mathur. She elaborately explained about the programmes offered in the Department and its brief history. She also blessed the students and encouraged them to be active in all areas - not only studies but also in the extracurricular activities.
Chief Guest, Professor PK Singh, Director, IIM Tiruchirappalli, congratulated the students and motivated them towards the path of success with his golden words. Prof. P. K. Singh, in his address, described the basic mechanisms of succeeding in student life, adding that students should gain knowledge from books. He said if students worked hard, they could achieve their dreams.
At the end of the program, DTHM Director and Course Director, F.S.M and E.com, Prof. Hanuman Prasad, gave the vote of thanks and said that apart from imparting education, the college regularly made students aware about their cultural values. He emphasized on the career opportunities available for students across all domains of study undertaken by the FMS, MLSU, Udaipur.
The inaugural session has been followed up by special expert sessions on each day, on various topics by eminent speakers from various fields. The expert guests who will be presenting their thoughts at the 8 day event include Prof.P.K.Singh, Prof. G.Soral, Prof. P.K.Jain, experts from I-start (Ideathon) incubation center under the aegis of Rajasthan government and many more.
The whole program was coordinated Dr.Pooja Devija and Dr.Jyoti Suhalka. The other faculties present in the programme included Dr.Sonu Nagori, Dr. Swati Bandi, Ranu Nagori, Dr. Neha Nagori, Dr. Tarranum and Mahendra.
