NEET PG 2024 Exam Date in Question
Supreme Court to hear petition on July 9,2024...
The NEET PG 2024 exam, scheduled for August 11, 2024, may face a postponement following a petition filed by Advocate Anas Tanwir. The petition, submitted to Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, highlights concerns about exam centers being located in inconvenient cities for many candidates. The exam date was previously set for June 23, 2024, but was postponed.
Along with asking for the exam to be postponed, the petitioners also want the details of how the four sets of question papers are scored to be shared with the candidates. This is to ensure that the process is fair and transparent.
The Supreme Court has agreed to review the petition on July 9, 2024. The petitioners argue that the short notice has made it challenging for candidates to arrange travel to their designated cities.
This development comes as the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to release the NEET PG Admit Card 2024 today. The exam, which will be held in two shifts and conducted in a computer-based format, consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will have 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete it.
