First Board in Rajasthan to Introduce QR Code on Exam Permission Letters
Measure To Prevent Dummy Candidates
Udaipur, December 20,2024 - Rajasthan State Open School, Jaipur, has introduced an innovative QR code system on exam permission letters to prevent dummy candidates from appearing in Class 10 and Class 12 exams. This is the first board in Rajasthan to implement such a system.
How the QR Code System Works?
When a candidate arrives at the examination center, the invigilator can scan the QR code on the permission letter using a mobile device. This instantly displays the candidate’s colorful photograph and complete details. This step ensures that only the genuine candidate is allowed to sit for the exam.
Fully Online Process
The entire process, from form submission to generating permission letters, has been made fully online. This simplifies the procedure for students and ensures transparency.
Upcoming RBSE Adoption
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is reviewing the system introduced by the State Open School. It is expected that RBSE will soon implement a similar process.
QR Code Details
A QR code is added to the top-right corner of each permission letter. Scanning it through a mobile device displays all the necessary candidate information.
Exam Centers and Schedule
The State Open School is conducting Class 10th and Class 12th exams in December and January. There are 983 exam centers across Rajasthan where this system will be implemented.
This new system is a significant step in preventing fraud and ensuring fairness in examinations.
