Dismal performance by Kota in RBSE Class 10 results - Full Statistics of Rajasthan Board Secondary Results 2023
RBSE clocked a pass percentage of 90.49%, far ahead of neighbor Gujarat, where the State Board pass percentage was a mere 64.62%.
Results of the Class 10 Board examinations were announced by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) on 2 June 2023. The results were announced in a press conference held jointly by Minister of Education of the Rajasthan Cabinet, B D Kalla and State Minister (Primary and Secondary) Zahida Khan.
Kota, famous across the globe for being an education hub and the dream factory for preparing students for the JEE and NEET among other competitive examinations came up with a dismal performance when it came to Class 10 results in the RBSE.
The Pass Percentage recorded by students of Class 10 of RBSE was 90.49%, far higher than that of Gujarat Board Class 10, which recorded a pass percentage of 64.62%. The Pass Percentage among the female candidates was 91.31% while for males it was 89.78%.
Jhunjhunu district topped the state with a pass percentage of 95.70%, followed by Sikar (95.63%) and Nagaur (95.04%). Kota ironically was at the bottom of the list with a pass percentage of 79.48%. Total number of candidates who appeared from Kota for the Class 10 board was 24,298 of which 19,313 passed the examination.
