Udaipur, October 15, 2024 - The timing of all government schools in the state will change from tomorrow, October 16. New winter timings will be 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

As per the Shivira Panchang, which is the academic calendar of government schools, every year the winter schedule comes into effect from October 1. However, the Director of Secondary Education, Bikaner, made amendments to the Shivira Panchang for this year delaying winter timing change. This was after the teachers union had written to the Education Minister requesting the delay citing heat conditions and in the interest of the students.
