Schools to open soon - Rajasthan Cabinet secures in-principle approval to open educational institutions
The cabinet meeting held on Thursday evening at the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlots residence has approved in-principle to open educational institutions.

The meeting was held at the residence of the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on 22 July. The cabinet will soon take a call on the final date for the opening of schools, colleges and other educational institutions as well as coaching centers. The Standard Operating Procedures will be defined and disseminated to all such institutions before the date is finally declared. Before taking an in-principal approval to open the educational institutions, the cabinet studied the COVID-19 situation across the state and discussed the approach with relevant stake holders as well as concerned health authorities.
It was also decided that Computer Teachers will be appointed in for government schools of the state. The declaration of vacancies and appointment for Computer Instructors were on hold for a long time now, forcing youth to move to other states to seek employment. This move will come as a relief for those waiting to apply for such positions across the state.
The cabinet has also decided to approve the Rajasthan Jan Aadhar Authority rules as well as make amendments to various service rules. Other decisions pertaining to amendments in other state regulations to facilitate induction through direct reserved candidates list in vacant positions of Information Assistants and Occupational Therapists.
