Seminar on Dr Abdul Kalam's Vision Inspires Students on World Students' Day
Patna, 15th October, 2024: A seminar on “All birds find shelter during a rain. But Eagle avoids rain by flying above the clouds,” was held under the aegis of British Lingua, an institute of international repute for communication skills at the institute’s auditorium in Patna. It was on the occasion of World Students' Day which commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former president of India, on 15th October. The theme of the event was taken from Abdul Kalam's speech.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Birbal Jha, noted author and the Managing Director of British Lingua said, “A student is a force to reckon with. Today you are a student; tomorrow you are going to be the professional of your choice, provided you have in-depth study and comprehend the subject to its fullest. As a student, your job is to study, and if you do it earnestly, honestly, and painstakingly, you will be in a position to do the job of your choice tomorrow.”
Encouraging the students to embrace education and have their life of their own style, Dr. Jha further added, "Never yield, surrender, or give up. Try, try, try, try and try again; keep trying again and again till you reach your destination."
"Students should go restless in pursuit of reaching their goal”, concluded Dr talking about the perseverance needed in accomplishing the task fixed by and for the students
A huge number of pupils attended the program, in addition to teachers M K Sinha and Birju Kumar. Wageesh Jha anchored the session and thrilled the students with his lovely songs and musical talent.
