Udaipur moves up a few notches in RBSE 2021 performance; marking as per strict guidelines

Performance of RBSE curriculum schools in Udaipur district has moved up a few notches in the 2021 results that were declared last week.

While the consolidated schools performance for Udaipur district does not figure in the top rung among other districts of Rajasthan, the numbers show an improvement in ranking.

In the Science stream, Udaipur district has moved from 15th position across Rajasthan in 2020 results, to 13th position in 2021. In the Commerce stream Udaipur stood at the 15th position across the state in terms of passing percentage, whereas the district was in the 25th position in the 2020 results. In the Arts stream however, Udaipur has fallen to the 29th position with 99.13 pass percent.

13 districts across Rajasthan have given 100% passing in the Commerce stream.

This year, in the absence of actual Board examinations across the country, the marking was based on agreed and approved formulae, which took into account the performance in the internal examinations as well as previous years statistics. This goes to show that the performance indicators for Udaipur have not changed drastically, emphasizing the fact that the marking has been done under the given protocol and with due diligence.

From May 2020, RBSE Schools in Rajasthan were also offered the “Aao Ghar Mein Padhein” model, which included the mobile enabled “Smile” module, “Shiksha Darshan” through television and “Shiksha Vaani” through radio across the state.
