After the wedding ceremonies, Aamir Khan is set to host a lavish wedding reception in Mumbai. The celebration promises to be a grand affair, marking the joyous union of Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare.
The wedding celebrations in Udaipur are set to kick off on January 8 and will continue until January 10. These functions will be an intimate affair, with only close friends and family in attendance. Following the Udaipur festivities, a reception is planned for January 13 in Mumbai.
As of Tuesday, the pre-wedding rituals, incorporating Maharashtrian customs, have commenced for Ira, the daughter of Aamir Khan, and her fiancé Nupur Shikhare. Ira posted a video of her pre-wedding ceremony on her Instagram Stories. The celebration started with the Kelvan ceremony, a meaningful tradition where the parents of the bride and groom extend invitations to each other's families. This ritual carries considerable significance in Marathi weddings.
Throughout the event, Ira donned a striking red saree, adding to the festive atmosphere. Notably, Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan's ex-wife, attended the function alongside her son Azad. The presence of close family members contributed to the warmth and joy of the occasion.
