The movie Pathaan has already crossed over Rs. 634 crore globally

Sharukh Khan's movie exceeds the nett box office earnings of Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai

 

All the excitement finally gave way to a moment of awe when the year’s most anticipated film Pathaan was finally released. It was a great move by Sharukh Khan to return to the big screen after 5 years. Ever since its premiere, the movie has been shattering records. Pathaan nevertheless made Rs. 600 crore on February 2 and is on track to surpass Rs. 700 crore in the next coming days, despite a 20% drop on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

Fans of Siddharth Anand and Sharukh Khan won't be dissatisfied with their collaboration in a film. On the day of release, the movie brought in Rs. 57 crore. Pathaan is anticipated to have made between Rs 17 and Rs 17.50 crore on its eighth day of release, increasing its total domestic earnings to Rs 348.50 crore, according to a Box Office India estimate. With this, it exceeds the nett box office earnings of Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai, which were Rs 339.16 crore.

Within seven days, Pathaan broke the domestic box office records held by Baahubali 2 and KGF 2, both in Hindi version. The milestone was reached by Aamir Khan's Dangal in 13 days, Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai in 14 days, and Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju in 16 days. Pathaan also became the Hindi film with the biggest opening week earner in the Hindi Cinema’s history. 

The spy thriller, which is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Sharukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and others, has now made over Rs 634 crore worldwide. 

Pathaan has done exceptionally well in the UK as well, earning £1.9 million pounds. Pathaan also reached $1 million in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and $10 million in sales in North America.
