Udaipur, Oct 18, 2025: Dangal actress Zaira Wasim has announced her marriage on social media. She shared a beautiful photo on Instagram on Friday night. Zaira posted two pictures with the caption “Qubool Hai x3.” The pictures show the couple signing the Nikah papers and posing with their backs to the camera.

Zaira has not shared her husband’s name or face. She wore a red wedding dress with gold embroidery on her special day. Zaira Wasim made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with the Aamir Khan movie Dangal. She won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing the young wrestler Geeta Phogat.

Decision to Leave Showbiz

After acting in major films, Zaira announced her retirement from movies in 2019. She said she wanted to focus on religion. In a Facebook post, she wrote, “I want to confess that I am not fully happy with this identity, that is, my work. For a long time, I have felt like I am struggling to be someone else.”

Earlier, in a social media post, she said she is not as noble as many may think and that the praise she receives is “dangerous” for her. She wrote, “While I humbly accept all the love from people, the praise is not satisfying for me. It is a big test and can be dangerous for my faith (Iman).”
