Ganga Aarti performed on Parshuram Jayanti

The Brahmin Community of Udaipur is celebrating Birth Anniversary of Lord Parshuram. In series of religious events, devotees performed Ganaga Aarti on Thursday evening at Gangaur Ghat. Prior to that, women devotees performed Garba Raas on the venue.

According to K.K Sharma, General Secretary, Brahmin Community, “On the second day of this 5-day event, women organizations of West and South Zone of city organized Ganga Aarti, where before the religious ritual they lighted lamps and carried out prayers.”

K.K Sharma further added that in series of events, today Idol of Lord Parshurama will be worshiped. It will be organized at Vallabhachariya Park in Sect-11, by Chanakya Family under guidance of other community members. On the last day, a mass procession will be carried out from UMC campus.
