Pichola, the BN PG Annual function concludes

Kiran Maheshwari, Member of Parliament, was the Chief Guest on the second and final day of Pichola 2011-12, Annual function of BN PG College, Udaipur, which ended late evening on January 19, 2012. The event was also graced by the presence of Dr. Yuvraj Singh Jhala, the former Principal of B.N. PG College, who retired from active service in June last year. His presence along with other members of the management added a lot of flamboyance to event.

The students gave excellent performances on stage and kept the audience entertained throughout the day today.

A variety of competitions, viz. Solo Singing – Non Film; Instrumental; Group Song – Film; Drama; Western Dance – Solo; Semi Classical – Group; Duet Dance, etc. were the entertainers for the day.  The major event of the day was the Mr. Zenith competition.

The following are the results of the above mentioned competitions :

Solo Singing – Non Film: 1st place to Urvashi Verma; 2nd place to Rahul Pandya

Instrumental: 1st place to Rohit Kothari; 2nd place to Puneet Bhatnagar

Group Song – Film: 1st place to Jitendra Singh and group; 2nd place to Puneet Bhatnagar and group

Drama (Play): 1st place to Lalit Nagda and group; 2nd place to Amar Singh Solanki and group along with Hukum Singh and group

Western Dance – Solo: 1st place to Deepanashu Bagga; 2nd place to Meenakshi Prajapat & Mayank Soni

Duet Dance: 1st place to Mayank Soni and Jayesh Lakhara; 2nd place to Deepanshu Bagga and Vishal Vani

Semi Classical Group: 1st place to Mayank Soni and group; 2nd place to Anjali Kanthaliya and group

The title of Mr. Zenith was given to Kushal Rawal.  While Rahul Sharma took the second spot, the third place was shared between Mitul Jangid and Yashwardhan Singh Rathore.
