Mohan Bhagwat, the Chief (Sarsanghchalak) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will inaugurate the Pratap Gaurav Kendra at Udaipur on 28th November.

RSS Area Campaign Chief Mahendra Singhal informed that the Pratap Gaurav Kendra is a culmination of modern infrastructure with historical and cultural architecture imbibed in the entire buildings that form a part of the Pratap Gaurav Kendra.

He said that the Pratap Gaurav Kendra will imbibe a nationalist and patriotic feeling among the younger generation, when they get a chance to witness the history of Mewar in its pride, valor and chivalry.

Spread vastly across the 25 Bigha land at Tiger Hills, Pratap Gaurav Kendra, with its gigantic Maharana Pratap statue is certainly eye catching.  The Smarak kendra on the other side of the mount hosting the statue is another treat to watch.  Fabulous statues of the famous Chetak, a statue depicting the well known Haldighati elephant-horse altercation between Raja Man Singh and Maharana Pratap, Shivaji, Pannadhay, Meera Bai, etc are a visual treat.

Pratap Gaurav Kendra is expected to graduate to a National Monument and a unique source of gaining knowledge and information about the history and achievements of Mewar.

Pratap Gaurav Kendra is expected to be open to the public immediately after the inauguration with the ongoing completion work in swift progress.
