The Sarvdharm Maitri Sangh, Udaipur organized Special Prayers for the flood victims at the recent mishap at Kedarnath and other parts of Uttarakhand. The Program began with the lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Rev.Fr.Subhas Ananad of St.Pauls School.

This was followed by prayers by the Sarv Dharm for the flood victims and A two minute silence was observed for those who had lost their lives in the mishap.

The Chief Guest Fr.Subhas said that God helps those who help themselves. Thus, a Prayer is a call to take up responsibilities towards the needy.

Nature never imposes but human beings do it. Thus we have built dams, constructed houses and deforested. Now it is a time to take up challenges to be honest and preserve the environment.

On conclusion of the prayers, Note Books were distributed for the poor children of the Colony. The local hosts Dinesh Rao, Manju Rao, Pramila Fernandez and Manju Sonigara worked tirelessly to make this event a unique one.
